Loose Leaves - Chokeberry Tree

今日も引き続きにシャプトンさんの本のイラストを紹介します。今日の木は北アメリカ原産の落葉小木のチョークチェリーです。　今回のイラストは葉ではなく、実のイラストになります。チョークチェリーの果実は核果で、夏に暗赤色から黒色に熟します。イラストには熟したもの（黒い丸）とまだ熟してないもの（赤い丸）を描いています。とても素敵ですね。
